Protect Your Online Banking Account – Update the Password Today!
To continue protecting your accounts and align with updated security standards, we are implementing an important change to our online and mobile banking password requirements.
What’s changing?
Beginning May 17, the minimum password length for It’s Me 247 online and mobile banking will increase from six (6) characters to eight (8) characters.
What this means for you:
If your current password is fewer than eight characters, you will be prompted to update it the next time you log in on or after May 17.
What we recommend:
To avoid any interruption or inconvenience, we strongly encourage you to update your password now.
Tips for creating a strong password:
- Use at least 8–15 characters (longer is better)
- Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters
- Avoid easily guessed information such as names, birthdays, or common words
- Do not reuse passwords from other websites or accounts
- Consider using a passphrase (e.g., a short sentence with symbols or numbers)
- Change your password periodically and keep it confidential
